After about a week of practice, I've finally beaten the NTSC version of Mission 34. I've compared my split times, and they're all faster than anybody's videos on here on the first half of the course (the part I practiced most). My second half of the 'Ring is not that spectacular, but I managed to pass the lead car and win by .034!!! seconds. FINALLY! I worked backwards and did Mission 34 first. I finished 30-33 on first or second try. I beat the one with the Ford GT by 5 seconds. I'm just tootin' my own horn here, but I'm so happy to have finally beaten this God forsaken mission.
 
Woopie for you, I yet haven't manage to beat Mission 34, but I'm proud to say I beat all the rest of the Missions in 2 days.. :sly: I would say thats worth bragging, Mr. Trig.. as for you congratulations, perhaps tomorrow I'll master the Nub'Ring on that fully stock, rusty brakes MB SLR McLaren. :lol:
 
Oh is it? Oh alright I try to do it today, but the only thing that I hate about this stocked up MB SLR McLaren is its braking and its not smooth on the turns. Just hopefully I could get this done today. :)

Btw the R89 Race Car is about as close to an F1 car as you can get, SO KEEP TRYING AT MISSION 34!!

Congrats on completeing the missions though.
 
Haha, yes, I guess you're right. Anyway, Mission 34 was my favorite mission because it actually required NEAR perfection. Really hard and fun.
 
Damn the closest I've been so far is missing it by 8 secs.. and with some errors that I thought would of pulled me off the map.. Anyways you got to put good use of slipstream (drafting) in this mission so the cars will suck you up. Anyhow, I'll probably complete it in a few more tries hopefully, if those stupid Mercedes get out of my way, I've been getting bumped off the narrow road by the 4th place one.. What an A-Hole.. :sly:
 
Yea, new update.. hehe :sly: The closes I've been to victory was by 3 secs and that was after a dissapointing 5 sec penalty in the ending section of the long straight, near where your about to turn outside of the pits to the final straight. Anyhow, damn I just get so anxious, I'm just so so aggressive, which is good.. :sly: haha!.. Well, yea hope to make it today, yesterday I had to leave early to school and see my baby.. :lol: Anyways, I'm on it. Oh yea when I'm about to pass the 5th place is like after the Karussel, sometimes I get really close to it being passed before the Karussel, but they get on the way a lot, and slow down my speed so I wont hit them and get penalize. Darn it! :sly:
 
OMG!!!!!!!!!! GRRR!! Update!! :lol: I was just off it by 0.403 secs! Dammit! All cause I got to anxious on the last little turn before the last turn and hit the wall merely.. :sly: Oh man!! Well here I go again!

lol, not really. i done it with kinda trick. just try drift on the grass, u'll find ;)

Yes, exactly that's what I've been doing when I've noticed that I'm behind with a few seconds. I just drift through the grass and then drift through the grass again a few turns after the Karrossel, or whoever you spell it in Deutch. Anyhow it sure helps. :sly: but yet haven't beating it. The closest I've gotten up to date is 0.308 seconds, damn and dats that I had a 5 sec penalty for slamming onto the wall. :)

Even with the wallriding and cutting through the grass, it's a hard mission. The only people that seem to have an easy time with it are the people with the PAL version 💡

Why would it just be easy for the PAL version GT4? Never heard nothing about this! What is there to know? Anyways its not wallriding we do, its just mowing the lawn kind of thing, well I do it cause I'm a dangerous driver on the Nub'Ring I don't even trust myself on it.. :lol: :sly:

Anywho! I yet haven't passed it.. Yay! :dunce:
 
Haha, the PAL version is easier by far. They get like an eight second earlier start and I guess the lead car is slower, too!
 
Oh really?.. Damn! Well I've yet to pass it and doubt I'll pass it today, If I actually play GT4 today. I'll just do the company races, because I just need to Endurances and the F1 Championship.. so I'm almost done with this.
