After latest update I don't think it's possible to get gold in the Bugatti distance mission, in Gone with the wind. Bevor the update i got bronze medal. Now I cant reach 6 km. Any ideas. Or wait till patch. My idea simply reduce the distances for the medals.

Put it on seventh gear and accelerate when you're slowing down, particularly on the uphill sections. That way you don't burn as much fuel, and you can use the rest of the residual speed to go further.

The mileage challenges are broken since the last physics update. The target distances haven't been adjusted to account for the increase in rolling resistance.

With the Bugatti challenge I managed to cover 5.1 km, my previous record is 10.7 km.

I tried it out, and while it is definitely much harder than before, it is still very much possible. Had to pull out every trick I knew to get Gold though.

There are two things that are very important: the revs, and the speed. Try to keep your revs at around 1000 rpm (you have to use manual mode, I'm afraid) and never go above 1500 rpm. Your speed should be above 30 km/h, in general. Going lower than that will require you to burn more fuel, so you have to try to maintain a good speed throughout the run.

Third gear is your best friend here to maintain a constant speed above 30, besides going into a higher gear to let the car roll or on some other sections. Also, be smooth with your steering.

Here's my run. There's probably a more efficient way, and I did make a couple of mistakes, but it will do.

Quite harder now, after 1.71, so I definitely don't blame you if you use an exploit to just get it done.
