Honda Motor Company did not produce automobiles until 1963, but Soichiro Honda did create a race car before the company even existed. Taking the chassis of a Mitchell car and engine of a Curtiss aircraft, the car won the 1924 Japan Automobile Competition with Shinichi Sakakibara (which also developed the spare parts) behind the wheel and the car is now fully preserved in the Honda Collection Hall.

(No specifications available that I can found, sorry. :guilty: Also, title might be wrong.)

I suspect the title is wrong, based on the info given.

Making titles can be difficult - I even was not sure if I got the previous suggestion (the Aero Avante) title right. So what is the proper title?

It's a Mitchell chassis, with a Curtiss engine, built by Soichiro Honda.

I think it would end up something like Mitchell Curtiss Special #20 Shinichi Sakakibara 1924

But I don't even know if that's completely correct.
