Mitsubishi FTO LM Edition Touring Car

According to the forums responses, i am still having trouble having this car show up in the UCD Used Car Dealership. This car has been all the GT series. I am looking for the Green Color. Is there a particular car to have going into the Dealership? Is there a time limit going back into the Dealership? Is there certaing events need to be unlocked? I'm at lvl 25 A-Spec & lvl 18 B-Spec. I've come across a wide variety of other really awesome cars. Thank you for checking out my thread. :)

It's called FTO Super Touring Car, and is one tough cookie to get hold of, I myself am forking out an RX-7 LM for one.
 
I have a FTO Super Touring Car, black and it showed up around day 585 I want to say. Can't say for sure it was or was not the LM Edition but I don't remember that being in the title.

The FTO racecar only comes in black, so if you see it then buy it. It's also 4wd and very very light, so it's an excellent B spec car aswell.

Keep checking, it will come up eventualy, I've seen it alot in there.

Alternatively, put an advert up in the GT5 Marketplace?? FTO is about 1,000,000 in the used dealership, so trade car of equal value to this. 👍

There's information on this car aswell in the same thread (rare used car dealership cars), it's a great car, same price as the RX8 Le Mans but slightly lighter and can be tuned to be alot more powerful, very good car. 👍
 
I have one and its up for trade.....in about a month :).....Black, stock and untouched by me.
 
I was lucky enough to get one one my 1k ticket...this and my Arta Garia are easily my favorite cars in game. It only comes in black a little under 500hp that will make much higher HP cars feel silly. If you really want one shoot me a pm with an offer
 
I found the S2000 LM Race car.

Still haven't seen the FTO yet in my UCD.
 
I'm assuming that the FTO Touring Car can't be painted? That's kind of disappointing. I still have some good memories of the Green Castrol FTO of GT1/GT2.

To confirm what the other posters have said, I've seen the FTO at least twice during my game so far and I'm only at Level 17 A-Spec/Level 7 B-Spec. It doesn't seem to be any rarer than cars of similar caliber (RX-8 LM, 350Z/Fairlady Z LM, Camaro LM, etc. I've seen all of those cars twice also) so you just have to keep checking back.

Sorry to say it's so, I had that car in Green too, was so nice. My favourite car out of all of the GT series since 3 (didn't play 1 or 2 haha), along with the Altezza and RX-7, which I have the Altezza :D

Are you talking FTO Super Touring car? This car comes in a few colors, most common is black.
I'm pretty sure I've seen a yellow and green FTO Super Touring.

Anyone remember the first Gran Turismo on PS1 and using a game shark? You could make the FTO LM (original name of car) god-like.

No, that's it's maximum, but it's a very light car (980kgs) and also got fairly good aerodynamics, so it can take on cars with alot more power, like some stock late model JGTC cars from the new dealership and tuned old skool JGTC cars from the used dealership. 👍

The handling of the car and the history of the car, as it was the best car in the very first GT. Super great.

AI can drive it in lots of different colors, but we are only able to get it in black. Would have loved one in yellow or green (mine was green in GT1).
 
Yamauchi was driving one along side me in the Dream Car Championship... That's the only time I had a proper look at it. He still lost the championship though, ended in last place :D
 
I remember this little baby from way back.. was the best car in GT1 IMHO. Didn't think it was in GT5 (must confess to not looking up the list of cars), but stoked to hear that it is. Will now keep an eye out for it in UCD.

... very jealous Delta795 - wish I'd gotten that, though it could have been worse according to the "1000 ticket" thread (I got the Castrol Toms Supra, so it's not that bad!).

I used to have one in real life til some taxi driver smashed into the side of me and killed it. I bought it purely because I fell in love with it playing GT1 and 2. Fantastic drive but the chassis could take a lot more power than the V6 could deliver :D

Not sure if I misunderstood your post, but I have it in yellow, black and red... a m8 has a green one. I think stormbringer has all the colours.
