Ok over here in the good old U.S.A the game isn't out yet but thanks to YouTube we're getting some early console reviews... Some good some bad... The bad mostly complain of poor car control on Xbox One and Ghosting on PS4... I have noticed however that most are complaining while driving the Gt cars... As for myself I'm into the caper and open wheel cars... So my question is this : Are these guys complaining because they don't understand how to setup their cars or are the controls really that buggy?...Anybody console players weighing in would be appreciated...Thanks

I don't know about the XB1 but it is out here in the "good old U.S.A." I've been playing the PC version since Wednesday evening ;)

No issues with car control other than having the settings correct and not sure what the ghosting issues may be. Looks fine on my PC and cars drive well using a wheel.

I can see where some would be very touchy using a controller, especially so the karts but even that can most likely be tuned out using the steering sensitivity settings and the rack ratio setting for the car(s) that are a problem.

Thanks man, just looking for those who have the console versions to confirm gameplay issues...It looks amazing and considering getting a wheel if the pad is unplayable. I hope someone will post some settings for the pad however as I'm one of the very few who prefer the pad over the wheel...

I use a crappy old 360 pad at the moment (usually use my T300) and i can say that it plays alright with that. I didn't do too much of settings adjustment and it took me like 1 hour to get a grip. Now in my second season of the Career and i still like to pick the controller up to play my races. As with any car game, a wheel improves the experience ofc.

Xbox one control problem is real, I've got the PS4 version as well and I've been racing fine with no assists using the ds4, the xbox is so twitchy you can barely keep the car in a straight line

the game plays great, the cars handle really nice but i'd be surprised if I didn't get at least one bug per session (over a few hours). it's just a little glitchy at the mo, but that can be fixed. gameplay is king and in this regard it's one of the best racing games I've ever played.

Metacritic for this game is 85%

As a PS4 owner I don´t see ghosting. But I don´t try to!
Game is awsome, shure need some work here and there but all in all its great

Im on PS4.....is ghosting the thing you see on the replays where the car moves from one place to the next very quickly? Its not a major issue...these things can be sort with a patch. Ive seen no slowdown on the framerate either in-game yet.

I wouldnt say it has 'mixed' reviews,a average score of 85% and largely very positive reviews. Just some minor things need ironing out.

The only time I've really noticed ghosting (ps4) was racing karts in career mode, it looked like I had blurred vision. My advice would be not to hesitate, the pros of the game far, far outweigh the cons.

In my opinion the game is far to twitchy using the controller on the xbone, it needs a patch of some sort to make it less sensitive. I've fiddled about with the steering settings for hours and nothing gets rid of it completely, especially at low speed. Mode 3 left at the default settings seems to be the most stable, for me at least. You can further improve it by tuning the car and also slowing the steering rack but it's still too twitchy.

The game is also full of bugs at the moment, far too many to mention here but the ones i seem to get the most are engine sounds distorting for a few seconds on almost every lap, lots and lots of screen tearing, car wont turn in any direction other than to the right on full lock forcing you to restart the session, random ghosting through cars in the pit lane. Not sure this qualifies as a bug or if the game was designed this way but when you go into the options menu it takes ages to save (even if you don't actually change anything) and go back to the previous menu

The game is good and the plethora of options available is impressive but i have to say i'm also a little disappointed as well, only because of all the arsing about i've had to do to get the controller set up somewhere near to where i'd expect it to be out of the box.

This is apparently terrible on Xbox One regarding numerous 'verified purchase' reviews.

Thanks for the info man!!! Looks like I'm getting the Ps4.... Seems like issues with every game that comes out on the suck box...
