We would have a better chance of getting votes if we gave a detailed description of the MK2 Ford Escort we would like to see.

I propose a 1975 Ford Escort RS1800 with the Cosworth BD engine :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosworth#The_BDA_series

In roadgoing spec it looked like this:

Two door shell, flat nose, round headlamps, small boot spoiler, chin spoiler, quarter bumpers.

Any other addons, such as flared arches and light clusters could be provided as Custom parts afterwards.

FYI Simon Mc Kinley's Warrior Escort is a Hillclimb special, based on an MK2 Escort RS2000.

For reference here's a standard 2 door Escort from the link in the first post. I appreciate the RS2000 would be preferrable for its more powerful engine, but when you think of MK2 esxcorts it's the flat nose models that spring to mind first, and would can tune the BDE to the same spec as the larger 2.0l BDG engine. There's a reason this was the model picked in FM… :D

I really mis this car in GT4/5/6 !!

One of my favourite cars in Forza  .

Maybe because I own one , I have a '78 with an 1600 xflow engine, livery is Hannu Mikkola '78 Portugal (2nd place).
Not the fastest out there but its fun :D.

And I like dirty games :D :

The Mk2 1600 was a popular car here in South Africa. Would love to see the older Euro Fords in GT. I don't think they've had enough love.

I believe the cars you have pictured with the 2 doors and the flat nose cone is the 1600cc Escort Sport. My dad had one of these when I was younger. Very fun car. I would like one myself actually with maybe an SR20 shoehorned in there.

I would love the RS1800 with Harrier vinyls as road car and for rally version, a RS2000 Rally Spec (that's flat-nose to you and me) with a rack of quad Cibie spotlamps and tarmac arches.
