After a few minutes of hunting and looking in the right places, i decided to make it easier for all you people who are looking to hybrid, and just cant find this program. Or rather, even if you havent looked, its right here. You can find it in the downloads section of:

EDIT: Direct link to V38 in below post.

The latest version is apparently "36" **CORRECTION, 38**, and you can edit things such as cash and game days, whereas in the older versions you could only edit the cars in the garage.

If theres any mods around, you might want to give this a "Read This:" status just to make things easier, or even Jordan might put it on the site.

Its currently an 833 kb download.

Just incase your too lazy to figure it out, you need to have a Sharkport to port your saves from your ps2 to your pc. This program only supports sharkport saves (.sps).

Happy hybriding! :)

Just want to point out that newer versions are linked in several threads here.

mk's V37

File extensions that work with it are psd, psu, sps, xps and xpo.

Also, though it's true that U need a sharkport/xport to restore a hybrided save to your mem card, this program is also very useful for producing hybrid code lists for use with a GS2, codebreaker or AR2 for NTSC, PAL or Japanese. U just need to D/L a gamesave from the net to use it.

At my brothers house (he was borrowing my PS2). He did some hybrids and he downloaded MK's V20!! I used it quite a bit over there. I have v37 and I cant tell any difference.

There are very subtle differences in each version of MK's. most of them would not be noticable to many users, and for the most part fixed minor bugs in the program.

Speeding drifter, I am assuming that U are asking about installing dirt tires on a car so U can use it in a rally. The thing is that U can't install dirt tires on any car and have it work in a rally. There are a couple of ways to go. Either start your hybrid with a base car that comes with dirt tires, like the Escudo and make what ever changes u want, and when U go to a rally it will put the dirts on. Also U can either start with a car that can buy dirt tires or even with an F1, and change the name of the car to a car that can buy dirt tires like the Celica GT4, write your garage and send it to the mem card. Go to the tune shop and buy dirt tires. Then save and send it back to MK's to put the right name back on the car and make any other changes U want. your car should now be able to rally.

Oh OK, when U metioned the editor, I assumed U had a sharkport. U can also do it with a GS2 or codebreaker, but only to the car in the first slot.

It would go like this. Let's say for example U have a F094/H in slot 1 of your garage. Using the following code:

GS2:1C041350 - 7D68918C 1C041354 - C10B81E6 escudo_pikespeak_00
or
CB2:2A93B76D - 9B76DE7F 2A9FB76D - 5FCBAEC1 escudo_pikespeak_00

Would change the cars name to the Escudo. Then, in the game u can go buy the Escudo dirt tires, try it out a a rally track, and then save the game. Now boot up your GS2/CB2 again, and with the following code:

GS2:1C041350 - 2FCDB933 1C041354 - 73FBCB2B williams_fw16b
or
CB2:2A93B76D - 2D89F696 2A9FB76D - E1DBE49E williams_fw16b

U can change the name back and resave, the car will then be able to go to rally tracks, but will actually have F1 tires on it. ;)

hey guys, i was wondering if any of u know where they might have an instruction on how to make hybrid cars. it would be very helpful if anyone can get it thanks alot:)

The best thing for U to do is to first download MK's V38 from the link above, and unzip and open it. Then click on the help tab and read thru that. It's pretty easy to use. After that, any questions U have we can answer here.
