MK's NOT WORKING??? FILE LOAD ERROR

Hello everyone, i'm new to gtplanet, but i got a problem thats really getting under my skin. MK's garage editor isnt working v38 didnt and now i found v35 and thats now, it will read in my original sharkport save just fine and construct the garage, but as soon as i import a new car to it (post modifing it) when i bring it back to the memory card its like 100kb less then what it originally was, This is very odd someone anyone!@$@#$ helppppppppppppppppp... my AIM is Liquifiedart Please AIM me asap and get me a new update for the program or some help, thanks alot

In order to help diagnose your problem, please give a step by step analysis of precisely what you do to make it not work.

Couple of questions, MD...

What OS are you using? Have you changed/updated recently?

Have you successfully imported cars via .ini in the past?

Were you careful to not modify the format of the .ini file, by adding unneccessary spaces, especially at the end of a line or blank lines, especially at the end of the file, prior to saving?

I'm not sure, i'm pretty sure i didnt add anything, I mean i used to do it with my friend a while ago, and now for some reason its not working, i think its these update builds. I mean seriously guys.. lol i'm a programmer, i'm thinking of rewriting the MKS, but right now i'm developing a game, so when i get some time off , I"m using WIN XP btw

It still wont work, I dled the v38 like i've had previously, Infact i changed **** in the ini. of my Rx7 and it work For the first time, then after that it still wouldnt work, seems that if i write out a garage from MKs after soem sort of editing, When i shark port that badboy over the progress bar doenst go all the way through, but if i just use an existing save i took off the card, and transfer it back on it works fine any ideas??

I'm using MK's v38 on XP Pro 2002 SP1 with no problem at all (X-port, not sharkport).
Perhaps there's something wrong with your garage ?
I suggest you download CFM's garage and give it a try.
Also check in your .ini files that the region is [US] and not [EU], that could perhaps be a reason.

If you problem happens when you shark-port your file and not when you edit it in MK's, try and upgrade your Shark-port software or check your USB connection.

This stupid thing, grr, I found out the problem.. I"M using SharkPort V2 not SharkPort2 Those bast@rds at MadCatz Jipped me!!! I got the computer software from my friend, but does anyone know where to get hte PS2 software!
