MKS release date...?

I know it's already out, and has been out for many months now, but I was just wondering about something. I was just wondering, how long was it after GT3 was released did MKS come out to edit GT3 gamesaves? I'm just curious to know, since GT4 will be coming out within the year, just some food for thought, thanks

I want to say it was about 5-6 months, but that is from when the US version of GT3 was released until I first heard of MK's. I don't know how long MK's was around before I got my first version, and I think the PAL version of GT3 was out before the NTSC wasn't it?
