MLB The Show 15, 2 player?PS4

How do you play 2 player? I go to Exebition & Play Now, then hit PS select another profile, only player 1 can select a team. P2 cannot do anything. P1 can only play the computer.

Of course there is no manual. Naturally there is no manual on the web. According to the box, 4 people can play offline. I called SONY and they are no help.

I don't know if this would help, but did you create two profiles on the PS4? My Madden game won't recognize the fact that there is two players unless both players are signed in to a PS4 profile. It probably has something to do with trophies and things like that.

I have several profiles on it, yes. Thanks, I kept logging thst person out. They didn't think this "pick up and play" crap through very well.

A buddy of mine is very impatient. He bought a PS3 for playing movies. After s year, he decided to get Madden (used to play it all the time with a group of friends). All he wanted to do was load the game and play a quick game. Now, you know how many friggin hoops EA makes you jump through with a brand new game. He took the game out and hadn't played anything since, not even demos. Honestly, they need to rethink some of this.
 
I figured it out, painfully obvious. P2 has to < to pick a team or > to play co-op with p1.

Ok, now you're confusing me. When I power on the 2nd controller, it's asking for a PS4 profile.

That is what I was referring to. It isn't the game that is asking for the second profile, but the system itself.
