This is the first organised event for "Aussie vs Kiwi's" GT5 and is a carry over from the GT5P/GT Planet days.

Be warned that it is intended that new players may join who do not know much about driving etiquette as we hope to find new players willing to learn the 'art of war' so it will be raced in the open lounge area (unless it get's completely out of hand)

Not sure what the lobby name will be called as yet but will post it here before the event.

MNR 7.30pm Au 9.30pm NZ - start time

There will be a 10min practice before each race and a small break between each race(5mins?)

Monza - 5 laps - something called a Corvette, any tune

Autumn Ring - 5 laps - Clio Renault Sport V6, sports soft tyres - stock suspension

Laguna Seca - 8 laps - anything from the 70's or 80's, open tune

Deep Forest - 5 laps - C63 AMG, sports hard tyres - stock suspension

Eiger - 5 laps - Toyota FT-86, sports hard tyres - stock suspension

Hope too see you there

Are Canadians admitted ?

Because i love the choice of tires you're asking in other to compete.

Do I have to understand that everything else can be modify if not mentioned ?

What means your time here in Canada (New york time) ?

Hi...err i don't want to put you off as i know your a clean driver but it was intended for Aussie & Kiwi drivers to reduce any lag affects.
Also you may find (i don't know) that the time difference would mean very early in the morning for you.

Edit: BTW great driving setup you have made mate - love the way you have 'hotwired' the controller - very smart!

Yes I'm so taking part in this!

I'm going to suggest if we can race karts at a custom track or autumn ring mini. Karting is so fun!!! And it's great close racing.

What do you think Joe??

As always it shall be a open forum to discuss what is raced etc so the answer would be "yes" but, the first MNR shall be as stated above.
Good to see you here Luca!

It's great to see you organising this mate.

I'm sure we will have the usual crew plus more than a few more racing with us this monday.

Also, im really keen to race some Super GT as well, but we will see what everyone thinks.

If i see you online between now and then we will have to have a session.

Luca

Credit for the line up should be levelled at Vrrm who took the time to trial these combinations.👍

OK..it's going to be hard to keep this thread on the front page of the "online racing".

Lounge will be labelled MNR AU NZ (pretty original aye!)

MNR will be invite only until further notice..too many clowns out there.

Cool - will throw you a request on the PSN tonight so you can try it out - probably around 9pm

Edit 8:32pm NZ ..Ok.slight problem...servers are currently down.
guess it will happen when it happens

It still happens a bit mate. MNR and FNR (Friday Night Racing) still do happen, although they don't get advertised on forums as much as they used to. I believe Joe90, ripping_silk and vrrm off memory were running MNR. But just add a few of the guys from AU/NZ and basically you'll get introduced to more drivers from the same region. 👍
