I dont know if this question would be against any kind of rules, but i am kinda desprate. So about 2 months ago I lost all my game saves, not just for gran turismo but for ALL my games, due to a hard drive crash. Replaced it with an SSD but still havent reinstalled about 99% of my games. I hate having to start all over on a game I was either already through and beat, invested TONS of hours in, or was partially through.

But I have had the urge to get on some gran turismo for a while. However we all know how much of a grind it can be. Especially when you consider the 100s, if not thousands of hours you can invested. I bought the game the day it came out. Actually got the $100 collectors edition, as I did with gt5. Been a huge gran turismo fan since the start.

Problem is, I really dont want to sit and grind until gt7 is out just to get back to the point where i was before my hard drive crashed. I just wanna get on and have some fun. So, are these downloaded or modded game saves real, do they work, and will they still work with all the recent updates that has been out over the past 2 years? Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction while Im reinstalling and downloading anything?

That sucks. Sorry about your HDD troubles, man.

Unfortunately, you aren't able to discuss modded saves on this website, so I won't be able to delve further into that.

GT6 isn't all about grinding though. Seasonal events give pretty decent amounts of money, and with the 200% login bonus, the Red Bull races, Senna challenges and the Sierra Time Rally can give you a large amount of money.

I can confirm this.

After starting up a new GT6 save, it didn't take long to get roughly 4 million credits from the events mentioned by TS040, it's also easy to unlock the events as the AI can be beat with the starting Honda and the gift S2000 with no mods.

Ok, well its good to know that the seasonal events can help get you built back up fairly quickly. Still sucks cause i had around 300 cars with all work done, and still had around 18 million or so.

Its would be so much easier to just start off with everything. But rules are rules i guess. Now if i happen to get an email in my gmail inbox with the same screen name as is on here, about how to do that, then i suppose i should just ignore it :D

If you had all your Games Saves backup on to a USB in the first, you would not lose many hours of work going down the drain.

True. Also true that if i stayed playstation plus they would have all been backed up in the cloud. But I didnt so...

Forgot to mention. There are also alot of games that are copy protected that cant be backed up on a usb. I found that out when I 1st swapped my original 80gb hard drive for a 500gb.

GT6 game save is copy protected as long as you got a PSN ID you should not have a problem using a USB.

I have built several new game saves just for something to do. Go ahead you just might find you'll enjoy it before you take the easy option.
Also once you are able to compete in the seasonals some of those are really easy money. The current rain meisters is pretty enjoyable, over in 3 laps or around 8 minutes and pays over 700,000 credits for the win. You can build up credits pretty quickly doing this.
