Theme: Scale difference. Two or more cars together, each being a different scale - e.g. 1:18, 1:32, 1:xx etc...

Rules:
-Editing - only levels, contrast and adding a boarder/watermark (keep it as stock as possible)
-Photographs must not be a 'snapshot' but must include some composition and effect - Base the photo on a studio shoot, or even use diorama/composition to create a realistic setting (you could position the model and camera in such a way in an outside setting so that it appears to be a 'real' car)
-No HDR shots
-Shots must be taken between January 2008 and the present day - exceptions can be made as long as the photograph has not been shown before the competition e.g. unposted work.
-Picture sizes - Must be no longer than 400px on the longest edge, full sized images must be no longer than 900px on the longest edge

-Deadline for each week will be 6pm GMT on a Wednesday, poll will be up by 6pm GMT
-Voting will close on a Friday at 6pm GMT

The next competition will take place on Wednesday 1st April.

My Entry [I kept getting a lot of noise in this one, this was actually the clearest shot I could get)

Dodge 1:18, Datsun 1:24
Believe it or not, it came out just how I imagined, just too much noise...

I could try to get one in for this, although it'll be difficult making the smaller one not look totally out of place. If its nice later, I might go outside and get some shots.

Thought I would throw something in. The Trueno is 1:24 and the Cobra is 1:18. I put the Trueno further in the background so the size difference isn't as noticeable.

Final Entry

Nice one TW! Its basically what I was planning to do :) Now I'll have to try and do something different....

That is a very nice shot. You can hardly notice the scale difference.

Thanks Speedy, sorry about beating you to the punch. Look forward to seeing what you do though. You are good behind that camera of yours. 👍

Thanks GBWH1991, glad it came out like how I imagined.

I have the perfect idea for this. Will work on it Wednesday :)

edit: doh! just noticed the scale restrictions. Bar 1:18 all my other models are either too big or too small for this.

For this competiton, there are no restrictions - only that each model in shot has to be a different scale to each other.

I should have made it clearer.

-Scale - between 1:32 and 1:18

That is the reason people are confused, including me. So, I thank you for the clarification. Maybe you should take that part out of the rules. >_<

Mine hasn't turned out exactly how I wanted it to be...Infact rather the opposite.

Canon EOS 350D
Lamborghini Murcielago & Lamborghini Countach

I assume the competitions will now close at 6pm BST (GMT+1)? (British Summer Time, for those who don't know.)

I have absolutely no idea what that means. XD I close the polls at my 1PM. Whenever that is. In other words, 8 minutes.

I just made it with my entry.

Nice shots from everyone.
