I loved the Porsche Carrera GT shot, shame about the blurred wheels in my opinion as it doesn't really fit the rest of the shot. But the whole concept is good, and pulled off well too, despite the wheels. 👍

I tried so hard too. I wanted it to look like it's moving! But I guess it didn't quite work out. I have others, mind you that I think are better - at least in terms of the wheel effects. But believe me...trying to pull off moving wheels when the car isn't moving is time consuming...

EDIT: Two shots that better show off the wheels that I was so trying to do. >_< The b/w shot almost made it as my entry

I think I prefer the lighting on the one you entered, just seems interesting and draws the viewer in. Motion blurring a model car can be difficult, I've never attempted it just due to the enormour amount of hassle to do it. I think perhaps also if you were aiming for a moving shot, doing it outside would have been better than a studio backdrop. Possibly, I'm not sure though. 👍

Nice to see people are putting quite a bit of effort into these competitions though 👍

Well...yeah. That's why I chose the entry I did. It is very hard to motion blur a model. But I wasn't really trying to motion blur it -I was sort trying for a "rig shot" look. It is hassle. Tons of hassle. This was an experiment. I was trying something I had never done before. I will just say that this shot would be impossible to do outside. Actually....I could have done it at night, perhaps. This was a experiment though. There might be more in the future, using what I learned here.
