Week 16:


Theme: Mid-engined cars.


Rules:
-Editing - only levels, contrast and adding a border/watermark (keep it as stock as possible)
-Photographs must not be a 'snapshot' but must include some composition and effect - Base the photo on a studio shoot, or even use diorama/composition to create a realistic setting (you could position the model and camera in such a way in an outside setting so that it appears to be a 'real' car)
-No HDR shots
-Shots must be taken between January 2008 and the present day - exceptions can be made as long as the photograph has not been shown before the competition e.g. unposted work.
-Picture sizes - Must be no longer than 400px on the longest edge, full sized images must be no longer than 900px on the longest edge

-Deadline for each week will be 5pm GMT on a Wednesday, poll will be up by 5:30 pm GMT
-Voting will close on a Friday at 5:30pm GMT



The next competition will take place on Wednesday 17th of June.
 
That McLaren pic looks fantastic.:drool: It has my vote so far.

I'm glad I discovered this competition. Now I don't feel so weird about taking all those photos of model cars. :dopey:

Haha Thanks! Its such a pain to push the car and line up the photo in time before the car stops rolling! I must of had about 20-30 attempts.

Yeah, I know! It is very tough. I had a moving SLR McLaren entry a few contests ago. That took me a while. ^^;

Well, welcome. ^^

And...yes I think that only one entry per person is allowed. It's easier on the people who participate - sometimes there aren't very many! So one is the way it will stay. And that's a very nice entry! Looks like I will have to up my game this week!
 
Sorry for the double, but I wanted to alert people that the same as the Automotive Photography competition, this one will also be delayed until tomorrow due to unavailability. So get your entries in! You have one more day!

EDIT: Replaced the full size shot, as it was pixelated due to Photobuckets major compression. Hope thats ok.

This renewed interest is great! Makes the competitions that much tougher. I'm really thinking I should change it to "The winner chooses the next theme", especially with this amount of participation and creativity.
