Well, although I can't speak for Longbow, I myself don't use a macro lens. I tend to use my standard kit lens (18-55mm) and sometimes when I'm outside I use my 55-250mm (just means I've got to be further away from the car). However I would love to upgrade to a macro lens at some point as it could durastically improve my photos. I think. 👍

Well in regards to shooting models like this then yes a macro would be very nice and surely help you take some great shots. But well done on your shot with only a standard kit lens, not bad at all I thought.
Mm, well I'm sure you can manage with just the one. And one of the ways you can learn is of course to use it, and try new things: so I hope you will consider participating in the future.
