modem problem

My modem is not finding my PS3 all of a sudden, Called Sony and everything appears to be good on there end. They say that my modem is not recognizing my PS3 and has to be reset. Anybody ever have a problem like this before or can tell me how to reset a modem. We have a couple of other computers and they are all connecting to the internet with no problems.????

Just unplug the router (with your PS3 off), then plug it back in

Also, go in your internet options in your PS3, then do a connection test.
