I just want to make some things clear to our moderators, and those who want to be one...

Being a moderator is a privilege - not a right. Just because you have a lot of posts doesn't mean you should be a moderator more than anyone else. And, just because you are a moderator, doesn't mean you will be one forever. It's a prestigious position, and one that I only want the most prestigious members to be in.

Please do not send me any more PM's asking to become a moderator or moderate in a different forum. I can't work on the site at all if I'm constantly replying to PM's. In the future, no requests for becoming a moderator will be accepted - I have to come to you, first.

Don't abuse your powers. DO NOT edit another member's message unless it contains something offensive, vulgar or otherwise inappropriate. This is the best and fastest way to lose your moderatorship.

I'm sorry if I came across harsh (this is the most stern message I've ever posted), but it's something that needs to be said.

That's OK. You don't have to apologize, it's not directed at any moderator in particular.

I was offered the role but turned it down, because I am uncorruptable and don't have a lust for power.

Do you here trumpets and heavenly voices?

😈 "I do!"

:o"I strive to be modest."

Ahhhh...... The sweet sound of a trumpet :D

Jordan & Co.

Obviously being new to the Forums I haven't really had a chance to speak at length with any of you, but none the less you seem like a decent band of individuals. One point that I will make is that I'm from the UK and being on quite different Time Zones there doesn't appear to be any moderating when I'm on the Forum! I'm not volunteering, but I thought it needed to be brought to your attention.

Keep up the good work chaps!

:)

Hey GVX, we actually do have a UK-based moderator by the name of Phil. But, he's recently become an employee for Vauxhall and he is no longer able to spend much time here. :(

Hi, GVX I'm in the UK too :) You don't expect to get answer's 24 hour's a day do you ? LOL
No rush, I guess everything receives an answer in time.
You'll get used to it :)

is there any payment, i sure as hell am not wanting to now, but is the only reason, be it a good one, to be a moderator is controll and not being a CIVILIAN

oh yeah, thanks josh for sending my HOLGER poll over to the rumble, there is plenty of hate in there to feed off of

I didn't move the HOLGER poll, it was someone else...

And if you're asking if we get paid to be mods, no we do not. It's just for fun, and to help keep the forums clean...

I moved the holger poll. It has nothing to do with Gran Turismo 3.

Jordan, your the man, no matter what goes on.
Humbleness and common sense are needed to be good moderators. Thanks Jordan.

i think its a good thread to bring up, seeing as we recently had that little "noc as a mod?!?" thread in the suggestion forum, with certain members shouting "pick me jordan, i love you with all of my body, including my peepee!".
