Having had discussions with various people today (who incidentally shall remain nameless) I was just wondering if any other members have ever felt the admins and or moderators have acted too strongly or not strongly enough in any cases?

I'm not looking for specifics, just wondering what the general consensus is on how the site is run.

I saw the convo in question. The people you refer I thought were trolls to be honest.

Quite how you know the conversation in question when none was mentioned is beyond me but if that's your opinion, so be it

It's generally the same with most forums, but in the case of this site, as a new user unfamiliar with local customs, I have been treat like a naughty chils, scalded, chastised and belittled by "those in power".

One would hope that not all the mods/admins are like this, but until i see proof, i'll put myself in the "disgruntled and disillusioned" pile.

Because it is the only other thing you have posted in 💡

i may have only posted in that but i simply said "having had discussions" those discussions may well have been about a completely different thread for all you know.
I would ask you not to presume what i was talking about, simply to pass on your views if you have had good/bad/indifferent dealing with mods/admins

Dont slow chat and if you contribute to the relevant thread and all will be fine and dandy.

One days membership and you feel that you have a mandate to state how the site should be run, how the staff should act and when one of your friends gets banned for it you attempt to gather 'support' from the general membership.

You want to find out how things work around here?

Then see how others post, take the suggestions they make on board and listen to the staff rather that tell us we are wrong.

This gets locked, start another and you will share you friends fate. How this works is quite simple, we have tens of thousands of members who are quite happy with how the AUP is enforced, as is the owner, if the three of you do not believe you can follow that AUP then this is not the place for you.
