moderators

i know that jordan picks who will become moderators but i want to know if you have to have a certain number of refferals, posts, threads, etc.?

this may be a stupid thread like my other ones but i just want to know.

Indeed this is how it works.

Actually, I am the newest moderator to get the job.
Just got it about 4 months ago.

The reason...
Other moderators were confident in me and knew the kind of member I was.
&
I was "right" for the job.

Boom decided to stop running the weekly race series and I got the job, the moderator status followed that.

So what's the point to that?

Well it just goes to show that Jordan and other moderators probably don't like to put new moderators on the staff unless there is a specific reason for it.

Just being a good member isn't enough... Circumstance plays a big role.
