I use primarily the app for browsing gtp.
The app doesnt indicate who is a moderator. Some forums i belong to use a different color for the moderators user names and also another color for what is called a forum captain in some instances.

Now that i have explained why i have a question i may aswell ask it.

Can i get a list of which members are moderators.
Also, does gtp designate certain mods to certain sub sections? No reason. Just curious.

I get confused with so many people running around and acting like moderators more than they post actually answers or contribute to conversations.

Thanks

Edit:
I know i can hit browser and view things that way but would rather not have too.
i downloaded the app before i was a member here and was a lurker for a while before that. Great job on the app.

Here is a list of them 👍. And to answer your question, yes :). Hope I could help!

EDIT: Whoops, I posted that right when you posted your edit. Sorry bro!

Amen, that seems to be a growing problem. I think the wannabes actually believe they are helping.

Same here, at least nobody will mistake me for a Moderator, I'm way to stupid. :p

Provided they simply offer reminders of what is expected from the AUP and don't overstep their bounds (they are "just" members, too, after all), you would do well to learn something from these "pseudo-mods".

However. If they do appear to be overstepping, by all means use the Report button. While the staff certainly appreciates an extra hand when appropriate, the wrong direction does us no favors.

Thank you.

No worries from me breaking rules.
Its just fairly annoying seeing regular users wasting more time and space acting like a mod than actually helping the person out.

Anywho. Question answered and thank you.

No disrespect to the Mods, but I'm on these forums almost 24/7 so I tend to come across AUP violations fairly frequently. I've tried reporting posts and a majority of the time nothing get's done, so I politely remind the person that is making the violation that they should obey the rules.

Nothing wrong with that.
