MOM Season 3 (Still Mencia, still stupid)

So, Mencia's 3rd season has aired tonight.

And what better joke to start off than the over-used, incredibly stupid, and idiotic "DEE DEE DEE."
To basically say, he goes on to make fun of Steve Irwin. From then on, it's the same jokes from last season. The only good thing was the tribute to Peter Boyle.

Even better, in the next episode, he makes the same joke he did tonight about Saddam being hung....:rolleyes:

How the heck this guy has managed to stay on TV simply amazes me.
 
Proof there are a LOT of stupid TV viewers. NOTHING this man does is even remotely funny or entertaining.
 
Agreed, Mencia is almost as annoying as Dane Cook. I don't know how he got himself a tv show.
 
my brother-in-law thinks he is funny and brought over the unrated dvd of his first season, i fell asleep half way through the first disk lol.
 
His humor is so played out it's pathetic. He can't joke about anything but race. I think that's a lack of origionality. Carlos Mencia is a DEE DEE DEE.

He also has a tendency to "reference" others' jokes as his own. But yes, all he can do is project race as his jokes. Worse yet, what he says, is what he believes to be true, and he's not sorry. "It's your turn Middle East to be made fun of!"

What is this? And why hasn't THIS pissed off Middle Easterners?

The only time his show has been funny is with Peter Boyle. How his comedy gold agreed to go on such a horrible show is beyond me. The one thing he has also NEVER done as all Comedians do is make fun of himself. No, skits do NOT count.

Anyone who has watched a comedian knows a comedian will make fun of themselves. This Dee Dee Dee (good point, btw. :D ) has never done that.

Besides that, at least Dave Chappelle was funny, though I think some here will still disagree.

Nope. I agree. Chapelle's Show relied quite a bit on racial humor as well, but it still managed to be funny because it was also parodying various things while relying on racial humor. Mencia isn't even close, as he relies only on racial humor. And thinly veiled racial humor at that.
 
The thing is that Dave Chappelle is actually a funny guy, and Carlos Mencia isn't. Chris Rock does race humor and it's hilarious - Chris Rock is really, really funny though. Any topic can be funny if person can write good jokes, and Mencia can't.
 
Its kinda funny how he steals funny jokes (eg. Chappelles sketch as Lil Jon) and makes it the stupidest, most unfunny joke possible (Mencia doing Sean Paul). The only time his show has ever made me laugh was when the guy who played A.C. Slater from Saved By The Bell made a guest appearance, and it wasn't even something they did that was funny, it was just the fact that he made a guest appearance.

Joke stealing, unoriginal, no talent hack if you ask me.
 
His routine of jokes were good for a season, but not two more seasons. Mencia isn't a bad stand-up comedian, but like nearly all in that art, their TV shows grow stale.
