I use a Logitec Momo (black) most of the time it's great. There are a few annoying bugs though. When racing occassionaly the break will slightly depress and car will slow down. This isn't the break peddle moving or not returning to the correct possition it seems to be an issue with GT5p - It happened in the demo also. It has never happened on any other game I have ised the wheel for. If there was a dead zone option for break/ accel peddles this would solve the problem - but there seems to be far less option to customise controls compared to PC racers such as Rfactor and GTR. Also is there any way of mapping buttons for the Momo wheel in GT5p?

The Logitech Momos are PC wheels and aren't officially supported by the GT series. If it works, it works, but they are not desgned to.

The Logitech Momo Force (red one) worked with GT3, but not GT4. If I recall correctly, the Momo Racing (black one) didn't work with GT3.

I wouldn't be so sure it's not the pedal. I had the same problem with my logitech wheel recently after getting it out again having not used it for months. I had exactly what you describe; after releasing the pedal it would still not fully return to zero and I would have about 5% brake applied constantly until i gave the pedal another kick.

I disassembled the pedal unit and, after much experimentation, found that the pedal was able to move slighlty sideways (from wear), which caused the potentiometer to obtain incorrect values for max/min compression of the brake. I used some electrial insulation tape on either end of the internal pedal barrel to make it fit slightly more snug in it's housing; reapplied the grease and tried it again. Happy to say it's now fixed

Pretty sure it's not the pedal as when it happens if I disconnect the pedals from the wheel and then reconnect the problem goes away temporarily.
