I know there are a lot of smart people on this forum and I'm hoping someone can answer these questions. I work in a warehouse that does digital printing on 60" wide printers. My mother-in-law handles the downloading of pictures and photoshop tasks. The problem she is having is her monitor shows different colors than the printers are printing. Does she need a better monitor or how do you combat that? If she does need a new monitor what would be a good choice? Also would an SSD help with loading the thumbnails in her main picture file? The computer shop that built her PC did not put one in Thanks for any help.
Might find them cheaper on ebay/craigs. They tend to get used once lol.
You could buy a better monitor; but odds are you will still need to calibrate it. For home/personal use color differences aren't typically that important. For a professional setting like you are in... well you know.
Thanks for the help. That's what I've been telling her about the SSD. Now I have some backup. The monitor she is using now is an older Acer 22" 1680x1050 running on vga.
