monitor is doing something weird

I downloaded a program to let me use 3 different backgrounds for my triple screens. I used it to set a background and for some reason it seems to have made my backlight brighter on my middle screen. The other 2 are pitch black when nothing is being displayed on them, but for some reason my center is now a little brighter then the other 2 and colors seem a little washed out. I deleted the program but it's still doing it.

All monitors are at the exact same calibration, and looked perfect before I tried this program. Is there some option I may be missing in windows that this prgram could have changed on just one monitor and not the other 2? I even did a system restore to before the point of installing the program to see if that would fix it.
 
The program messed up your monitor calibration and also probably changed it to an unsupported resolution/ refresh rate. As for a solution, I think its possible to just re-install your monitor profiles and it might fix it.

I messed with everything through Nvidia and windows and couldn't find anything changed. I then went and switched it from game mode to theater or something on the monitor and switched the calibration to the same as the other 2 and now it looks like it did before.
It must have just been a really weird coincidence or something and the game mode screwed up the same time I installed that program.
Is their a difference in performance on a monitor between game mode and other modes or are they just presets for color settings?

It's probably for colour, image and dynamic contrast settings, that sort of thing. It almost certainly won't improve the response time or refresh rate, if that's what you're wondering.

That is kind of what I was wondering. I seen reviews of my monitors and everyone said they were good for games after you pu them in game mode.

It is really weird though that for some reason on the one monitor game mode will not calibrate the same as the other monitors in the same mode. It kind of washes out the color and has the backlight brighter then it should be. I hope this is a weird clitch or something and the other modes do not start to do the same thing. When I switch to another mode though I can get them all to look the same with the same settings.
 
Did you buy all three monitors from the same place at the same time? I have three Samsung 226BWs, two made in Taiwan and one in Romania, the Romanian one has a seriously annoying, very very slight magenta hue which you can really notice when playing a racing sim because the sky is blue on the right and centre monitors but sort of purple on the left. Different batches may show slight but noticeable white balance and colour differences, which is why I spent some time tweaking the settings in the manual mode rather than using the presets. I'm sure whatever benefits you get in game mode will be open to you in the manual settings mode so just keep playing with it until the differences don't bother you any more I guess?
 
I bought them all from tiger direct at the same time. They all looked perfect until I ran the triple screen background software. The are all still fine unless I use game mode and then the one will not calibrate to match the other 2.
