i need a new monitor, but are monitor more performant than a tv if they are the same size ? i want to plug a ps4 on it, i dont know if pc monitor have a second hdmi plug. and is 32'' to big ? i want a good time between the pc and the monitor, like a 40''monitor will be slower than a 20'' monitor. for war games. i dont know if you understand me, im sleepy and i speak french normaly. well i want a monitor to plug my pc and a ps4 on it + a good speed ( i dont know the name of this speed )

I think the speed you refer to is refresh rate. 60Hz is standard for TVs, 120Hz is better. There are sets claiming to be 240Hz, but I'm not sure that's a real refresh rate.

That speed has nothing to do with the size, but with the price. higher refresh rate is a bit more expensive.

What video outputs do you have from your PC? Will you be watching TV on this or is it strictly for the PC and PS3?

From my own looking around, DVI is not common on TV sets, but VGA is, along with at least 2 HDMI inputs. A screen sold as a PC monitor will probably not have HDMI, making it less useful than a TV for the PS3.

Even if you don't intend to watch TV, a TV set may be your best bet to get VGA and HDMI both.

As for a 32 being too big, if you're sitting at a desk looking at it, then yes, I'd say that's uncomfortably large.

ya i didnt think of the size, 32 is huge. i think ill take a 28 or near it. if on a pc monitor i cant have what i need for the ps4 then ill get a tv, wich i can pluf a hdmi cable on my pc to my tv but ill need 2 hdmi on it, i have at home with 2, but its a 50''. im sure a 28 or something can have it.

im looking some monitor online and in the description it says '' with a 2 ms response time or 5-3 etc, you know what it is ?

ah mili second i guess

Check out the DELL range of monitors. They have a selection of inputs on them.
I run a 24" for PC/PS3/360 an it's a good size. You may want to go with a 30" if you want to go a bit bigger.
