Hey guys, I was hoping the good folk at GTP could help me find a program to monitor the total internet usage for a whole network. It's easy enough to find programs that will do a computer, or computers infact but the problem arises with the PS3 as there appears to be no way of monitoring that.

It's more for my stepdad to be totally honest as he wants it for the home network. Somehow a couple of months ago he exceeded the fair usage which he's trying to avoid a repeat of, but of course with me at home the PS3 is using the internet as well.

All systems are connected wirelessly to a BT Homehub.

I'd like to know the answer to this too. BT regularly charge me and I don't even consider myself a heavy user.

Does the Homehub have a status/settings page that you can log into (check manual)? I have a router setup behind my cable modem that serves as access point for all the WiFi capable devices (quite a lot these days ;)) in my house. It has a status page where I can see the usage since the last time it was turned on.

Like NLxAROSA, connected to my modem I have a wireless router that is running tomato that will tell me my usage in real time, for the day, week and month. Other than that, I'm not sure what actual software is available.

Don't you go into our browser and enter the IP adress? Like you go into the address bar and type in 192.168.XXX.XXX for example and it will require a password sometimes.

Yes, going to 192... will point you to your router to adjust security settings, SSID, etc. but that doesn't mean your router is "smart" enough to log the bandwidth activity.

I found it in the end, it was a little hidden in the routers options but it didn't take to long to get there. Thanks for the tips guys.
