I would like to know who owns any RC NITRO MONSTER TRUCKS

Myself , I own a T-Maxx 2.5 and a Losi LST . I've got a crappy little Duratrax Evader too. Which is a speed machine! I can tell you though, those Traxxas Revos are beasts!

I've got a Terra Crusher, with an FOC and a headerpipe. It's currently out of commission, as a couple gears in the driveline are stripped out. It's been sitting for a couple months, as I have been busied by other things (School, GT4, etc.).
The damn thing just keeps on breaking. NEVER buy a used RC (guess how I learned that).
 
I agree, never buy a used RC. But you should get that Terra Crusher up and running man , that truck is a master piece!


This part of the site is slow...
 
It is slow. I could swear that there are more of us monter truck guys on this forum than just me and you.
I'm just lazy, and not wanting to part with my precious little money I've got in the bank to fix the truck. I'm on spring break right now, so mabye I'll get around to ordering parts. I've also got a half dozen projects to do, with a model car that's ready to be painted being first in line. Mabye tomorrow. Or the next day. Ah, hell, I'll just wait till summer vacation (kidding there).
 
Yes they do. And they last a long time too. My has had about a gallon and a half run through it. Its due for a rebuild My TMaxx that is. The Revo is like brand new. I beat the heck out of my Tmaxx but it takes a licken and just keeps on a ticking.
 
Right now I bash with the Savage SS; I love this truck, reliable, durable, and fast.

edit: are you THE maxxtraxx? (as in the guy who created the site?)
 
I raced a Savage SS with my TMaxx and beat it was close but i beat on a staight run. I wanted to beat on the track down the road from my house but he said he had to go and left. He lives in the New york city. Now I got my Revo so im waiting for him to come back up this summer.
 
I have a revo with a RB tm323 (.23 engine), single airtronics 358 steering servo, synth airtronics MX-3S radio, and some other stuff. It is a beast at the track and when geared for speed will easily go 55+
 
I've got a Savage with lots of goodies. Just ordered 164$ of parts off Towerhobbies yesterday. That order consisted of new rims/tires and needed plastic pieces. I also have a REVO and an old EMAXX. Check out some pictures. EDIT I posted the pictures right but they arent showing up for me. I dont get it

Got a Associated b3 buggy. Really my brother's but he dont use it and im the one that pays for the broken parts :O
 
Do you guys own cars to or do you guys just like the trucks. I Like the cars too. I rescently bought my little brother a Traxxas 4-Tec .15 It has aluminum gears, Ez start (Not to crazy over them) Purple aluminum exhaust, with a black RSX body. Not bad for a 100 bucks. The guy I bought it from wanted a Pocket Bike. Its like brand new only ran for break in.
 
IMO, the 4tec isnt the best handeling car. All it got is speed. I dont think turing cars should be nitro since nitro isnt very good for handeling due to its high center of gravity. Although, i do run a nitro touring car, i would always race with an electric. but guess i'm goin a bit off topic now :crazy:
 
Yeah the guy wanted a pocket bike and needed $100 to get it. I was even amazed when I offered it to him and he took it.

I took my T-Maxx out on saturday and ran it at a local car show down in middletown N.Y. I ran it against a Savage .25. The only reason he beat me was because I had to slow down, or I would have hit the curb. But all aside he beat me.
