Hi guys,
JKgo - its not felt - its called Alcantara which is a polyester / polyurethane mix - and has the look and feel of suede.

The 375/4 pictured is one of the later model cars - probably one of the 8 purpose built for the Royal family of Qatar.

You can tell by the tail lights that wrap around the corners of the rear panels, the first series cars had tails lights rear-facing only.

The car pictured also has the more traditional wheel studs, whereas the original 1971-74 cars had campagnolo centre knock-offs and were magnesium wheels. the wheel brace is huge to grasp the wings of the knock off, and you need to carry a sledge hammer in the boot to tighten or loosen!!!

The 375 designation refers to the horsepower rating of the Chrysler 440 Magnum engine, the 4 is for the four-door version and there was also an 'S' and then an 'L' model both 2-door but with the same 440 engine and 727 auto.

An interesting feature was the De-Dion rear suspension system which incorporated inboard disc brakes.

Another unique feature is that the 375/4 has two complete braking systems, 2 boosters and 2 masters. The second booster is hidden under the fender of the car.

Only 3 RHD versions were made. One of them is in Melbourne Australia

Regards,
