Monthly, weekly, now daily YLOD

My used ps3 from gamestop has been nothing but annoying. YLOD is a daily occurance for me now but i still fix it just so i can play some GT5, i didnt spend 230 on the g27 for nuthin

My ps3 is no longer using any screws except for the ground and the power switch to make easy access to the motherboard, makes the YLOD fix take no more than 20 mins.

Anyway the question is, should i just buy a board on ebay for 30 bucks? Or 9.99 if im cheap
