Monza Question

So my buddy and I were laying down some lap times on Monza with our F10's and he kept beating me at the second split by about 1.5 seconds. Then I realized what he was doing. He's cutting the corner at the second chicane by driving over the speed bumps. I tried it and it was very easy to control and did not invalidate my time at all either. From what I remember watching F1 races here they can't do this in real life. Do you think this is something PD will update? At least make it invalidate the lap time? The more I think about it why didn't they impose something where if all 4 tires go off the specific track it invalidates the lap time?
 
There's lots of places where you can cut corners, not just here. Sukuza's final chicane comes to mind.

If it isn't fixed by the update that is coming out for us in the 3rd round of GT Academy, I don't think it'll be coming(soon anyways). But with the little info that is out there on what they are "changing" for the 3rd round update for GTA, it could be possible that they are going to apply these new parameters to ALL circuits(which would seem to be the easier thing to do). I hope so, stay tuned for Sunday !!
 
They actually updated the kerbs at Monza last year to make them higher during the F1 race. I remember reading that hitting the bumps would damage the car. Not sure if PD implemented the higher kerbs into the game. I would like them to update it to prevent people from cutting it. But whatever, it's a game and there will always be cheaters.

What happens on Sunday? Did they announce that's when GT Academy restarts?

Round 3 was originally slated to start on the 14th, if it doesn't start on time the update more than likely hasn't been "finished."
