More Angle?

High angles come with practice. It's all about knowing the limits of the car and how far you can push it before you will spin. There really isn't a trick to it.

You could set your car up that when you give it more throttle, the car would angle more. But then again, it'd increase the likelihood of spin-outs. I don't set-up mine like that though. And, I could be wrong on this one, but I think the line you take can help with your car's angle.

Ethix is right, there's no trick to it, it'll come once you get used to the limits.

The throttle will make the rear end step out regardless of the settings. More throttle and more countersteer will increase your angles.

You need to be patient and wait a little bit longer for your angle to develope before you begin countersteering. When I was new to drifting, too quickly I would panic or want to be in opposite lock, thus causing my drift angle to straighten, I learned to be patient and relax while my car oversteers into its drift angle, and then from lots of practice, I'd catch the angle I wanted and take through the rest of the drift.

The key is not to rush into countersteering and to practice.

well if you can aready drift quite well try reducing the settings on the LSD for initial torque and acceleration. i find this gives you better control at higher angles. Try running with the first 2 settings set at 60 and 60, then 5 and 5 you will see a huge difference in the way the car handles during a drift.

Thanks I will try that.

easiest way, throw the car sideways way before the turn with the right amount of speed to get through it, then let the revs die down to just below your power band, and then use the throttle sparingly to turnt he car as it slides through the corner, you can keep it very sideways doing this, with or without ebrake (I do it without)

Well that depends on the cars acceleration really. My ZZII pulls 936, though my Lancers barely pull about 300.
Man, I can barely et an AWD sideways...and I'm tired as all....

IMO, use your powerband to gain angle and sustain the drift. The closer you get to the point where your Hp and Torque intersect, the more angle you will get. Keep the revs just under that point, and you will be able to sustain that angle. It just takes time and experementation to find the precise point when your car loses control.
