more cars than you think

hey guys,
im pretty new on the forums, ive never really posted before (im usually a quiet observer Hybriding GT2 hehe)
anyways i got GTPSP and i was dissapointed at first thinking that a few of my fav cars from gt4 didnt make the cut
i.e : all the HOLDEN cars
MAZDA 6 MPS (MAZDASPEED6)
Lexus as a whole
etc.

however ive just reached day 140 on the game and dispite numerous car list stating other wise, i can say that the Lexus dealershipp is up and alive, as is ACURA and ive manged to get a grip on the MPS
theres still the whereabouts of holden to be accounted for but its looking promising.
anyone else find cars that were previously told werent going to be on the game?

What do you mean by "dispite numerous car list stating other wise"? Lexus and Acura are both on the official list here: http://www.gran-turismo.com/local/jp/data1/products/gtpsp/carlist.html

Actually, I found a neat trick to see what manufacturers are available in this game:
-Go to Records (bottom-left-most icon).
-Click on Garage.
-Choose sort by Manufacturer.
Doing this will show all manufacturers that are available in-game, even those that you haven't encountered yet or haven't bought cars from. Sadly you can't see the individual car models (except those that you have bought), but you can see how many cars each manufacturer have.
