Grand Theft Auto 5 & 6 In Development?
Well today’s certainly turning out to be a strange one. Coming in only a few minutes after our Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas story, it appears Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar will eventually be taking the GTA series further, with Grand Theft Auto 5 an Grand Theft Auto 6. Much like our previous story, although it has yet-to-be confirmed by Take-Two (well via comments), this morning the company filed for both the names “GTA5” and “GTA6” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Naturally, platform wasn’t revealed, but we’ll definitely keep you posted.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - Evidence Mounting
Just a few days ago we were the first to report on the name of the next Grand Theft Auto game being titled “Sin City”. Although the news was later taken out (and in the end it appeared that the listing was just based on an April fools joke), it appears that a bit more evidence behind the whole San Andreas rumor has popped up. How you ask? Well this morning, while doing our usual check on the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), it appears Take-Two Interactive has officially registered the name Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Of course, although the company hasn’t commented as of yet, it looks like things are setting in stone. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will ship during Q4 2004 on the PlayStation 2.

I'm just waiting for the news about whats going to happen IN the game. :)

Grand Theft Auto: Tokyo, Bogota ... and Sin?
By Andrew 'Talon' Wilson @ 04:55 AM :: General Gaming :: 4 Comments
Yesterday morning we reported that a checking on the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) had shown that Take-Two Interactive was both planning to name the next GTA game “San Andreas”, and that the company would be doing GTA5 and GTA6. In what seems almost insane, it appears that even more Grand Theft Auto names have popped up. Specifically, the company has now taken on the names, “Grand Theft Auto: Tokyo”, “Grand Theft Auto: Bogota” and, in what might be the strangest filing of all, “Grand Theft Auto: Sin City”. All the filings were made on December 17th and, while it isn’t known if these are actual game names or just filing for the sake of filing (which wouldn’t be too surprising), it’s certainly interesting news.
