More Possibilities in Tuning (Tell Me What You Think)

Hey guys, i had this crazy realization today. What if PD allowed more tuning options for each car so that we arent limited, ill make a list down on what i think they should add on this tuning possibilities, bear with me my friends :sly:

Suspension

-Lower ride heights (dang some cars dont go low enough) this would be good for those hellaflush people and enthusiast in other wards STANCE, but with this lower ride height it should have a disadvantage like the car is low so at bumps it would slow down and affect handling.

-4 wheel steer should be integrated to some older 90 cars like the Mazda Rx7 and 300zx and be able to adjust how the behave, if they can have a similar handling enhancing feature such as AYC in the game they should also consider 4 wheel steer.

-Different Brake Compounds/Pads/Rotor customization, maybe some of you would agree with me here, some cars have such horribad brakes. I think PD should consider this tuning feature atleast.

-The ability to choose wheel size would also be a good tuning feature, some rims are too large or too small in a car and not only would it be an aesthetic feature it could also affect handling. ex: if you have a car riding on stock 16 inches normal tires compared to your car now riding on 18's with low profile they would handle way different and the feel too.

Engine

Overall I wont criticize how Forza has the engine swap feature against GT5 but they should given us more option on engine tuning wise like:

-Turbo Peak Boost: This is good for all around racing or just drag, we can set when the turbo gets full boost at certain rpm therefore being effiecient.

-Option to be Twin Charged/ Supercharged/ Turbo
I know this has been a bummer to some users and players who want *insert Jeremy Clarkson POWEEEER* PD should've allowed us so more room on this aspect of tuning, who wouldnt want a twin turbo lambo like seriously :sly: or a twin charged time attack car, its the best of both worlds down low to top end we are all happy :dunce:

-For more indeep immersion to the game i was thinking of ECU mapping and all that but i think thats way too deep for some people that it might actually confuse them.

I think thats all i got in mind, leave some feedbacks and comments and thank you for reading my fellow GT5 people. :dopey:

I think that forced induction on more cars would be a good thing. I also think that all wheels should be allowed on all cars.

Tire sizes, ply type, pressure, and rim size modifications would be great. I would also love a more detailed engine tuning instead of vague 'engine work', particularly adjustable cam profiles and valve sizes. It would be very awesome to select Turbo charger diameters and inter cooler/radiator sizes with appropriate impacts on weight and weight distribution, and bore diameters and stroke lengths. The result should be that there is no 'max' output from the engine, maybe a peak Max, but that there are multiple ways to reach different power and torque levels and curves.

I would only add a few things:
- Tire pressure
- Caster
- Current settings available for all wheels individually, vs. the current front or rear.

The biggest thing that PD could do for us is to give us tire temperatures across each tire; inside, middle and out. I would be happy with that. That would be a huge help in setting optimal camber.

I'd like a Stall Converter for drag racing so I can launch my Zonda R off of the line more quickly.

I would also like to have parts on a car fail. I think this would add the "fear factor" into the game by having the players drive more cautiously and not trying to fly around the damn track all the time.

I'll echo Hami entirely here.

Edit: Think about what you just said Connoissuer. Torque converter. Zonda. No.

Completely unnecessary to have the adjustment on ride heights any different to how it is now. As far as I'm concerned, PD has just thrown some assigned values to many cars to determine how they drive and not done any testing or measuring of the real cars. Remember, PD has got so many details wrong on so many cars that we are able to detect, like gear ratios and weight balance, so I really don't hold much hope that they got other details any where near right, like the ride heights of a certain car etc.

RL tuners remove four wheel steer from vehicles

-Different Brake Compounds/Pads/Rotor customization, maybe some of you would agree with me here, some cars have such horribad brakes. I think PD should consider this tuning feature atleast.

What would happen is, people would install all brake upgrades on all cars and get 20% better braking or whatever from standard, even on cars that in RL, have near enough to the best braking equipment available. Those cars would gain a magic 20% in braking that IRL would not be achievable.

The same kind of problems are already in the game with HP upgrades. If you look at the kind of power you can make with some Mercedes/AMG cars, you will know what I mean.

Not necessary. Most cars look just fine how they are and there's already plenty of adjustment you can make to a cars handling. It wouldn't ruin the game in any way though if it were added though.

You got 3 different turbos you can fit.

-Option to be Twin Charged/ Supercharged/ Turbo

If they did this, I'm sure it would be done wrong.

-For more indeep immersion to the game i was thinking of ECU mapping and all that but i think thats way too deep for some people that it might actually confuse them.

With ECU mapping you might be able to make Frankenstein power curves to maximise a car for PP racing. Every cars power curve might end up looking the same.

With the current options, you have a large range to customise a car already.

I think they must make work the tuning options they already have in the way of shutting them off , showing their are incapable to fix the problems they had in the past.
After this , any new tuning option would be welcome.

-First , turn back on a "good way" riding height.
-Come back to the first PP system and let it more accurate in the way of more unfair.

Then adding like say MCH
- Tire pressure
- Caster
- tire temperatures across each tire; inside, middle and out.

I dont think you get the point here MrGrado, im just getting the ideas across of what i think they should add, no need to be all defensive and going all against me.
