In the latest issue of Evo magazine (Feb issue) a 700bhp version of the Murcielago has been confirmed. It is the road car version of the Le Mans Murcielago and it will have a 6.5-litre V12 and will have rear wheel drive instead of four-wheel-drive. It will be known as the Murcielago GT-R and only 25 will be built. It will be ready in 2006.

A 600bhp Gallardo is confirmed and will use a revised version of the engine in the car already. The car will be on sale a few months after the release of the Gallardo Roadster.

700bhp Murcielago ... 6.5-litre V12 ... rear wheel drive ... Murcielago GT-R ... only 25 built.

600bhp Gallardo.

Nice. Pull up alongside another ("normal") Murcielago or Gallardo at the lights and watch the driver's face as you trounce them .... cool :)

Yes, the Lamborghini Murcielago GT-R is the next generation of Diablo GTR which is an amazing car and very, very, VERY, loud.

Check the beasts out... :crazy::drool:
Now if you'd excuse me, I have to go change my underpants... :D

The first one is confirmed to be a photochop and the R-GT's were the preview pictures of the R-GT. The ones you posted are not the one the creator of this thread is talking about.

Oh well... Those are the first couple of pictures I found using Google, so I grabbed them and posted them in here... I wasn't aware of the source/reliability of those pictures. If you can find some that represent the real vehicles that theGTfreak is taking about, please post them, that would be great 👍 :)

They look good none the less. 👍

D@mn right they do! :D

You sure do... especially the Fiat Coupe Turbo Plus.

Back on topic, now that VW/Audi owns Lamborghini, do you think it possible that those engines will make their way into other Audi products? :D

PublicSecrecy
You are aware that Lamborghini and Bugatti are owned and produced by Volkswagen, right?

:brokenheart: :indiff: :guilty: :( :grumpy: :ouch: :irked:  :banghead: 🤬 <--- This is the order my emotions went after I read Volkswagen in your post...

Bloody Germans... :D

EDIT: At least we still have Ferrari 👍 Right? Right? :scared: Please somebody confirms this before I commit suicide... :D

Did I hear somebody naming Fiat again?? :sly:
Nah... must have been a dream or something (more like a nightmare, I woud say) :scared: :D

A German company may own 'em, but that ain't Germans in the factory.

Yeah, most likely they still have plenty of Italian designers/engineers 👍
Lamborghini will still be Italian in the heart, and it will still be Italian in mine

And, the "EDIT" about the Ferrari is sarcasm, of course! ;)

I just found out that there's going to be a Gallardo GTR...

That's the same picture that I posted, and pimp racer confirmed that it was photoshopped... :indiff: So, no luck yet with finding the real deal. Just keep trying, though 👍 :D

Damn, I will keep trying.

He's saying, "As if the Lamborghinis weren't fast enough."

Although the Murcielago R-GT hasn't done very well in ALMS, hopefully the production car will do better.

Yeah sorry thats not the real one! :( I can however tell you that there MIGHT and maybe will be a Gallardo GTR becuase put the Ferrari F430 in Lemans and then this Gallardo I can be sure it would be one hella race! :D BTW dont waste your time searching right now. I think its a bit early for them to release anything yet. I am guessing maybe in a few more months?

Audi owns Lamborghini, not Volkswagen.

I wonder how pissed the current Gallardo owners are. If you could extract 100 more hp from the V10, why not do it in the first place? I'd be super-pissed too if Ferrari decided to put 500hp in the 03 360s. Now Gallardo owners are stuck trying to sell their cars to get 600hp Gallardos, and no one will buy the 500hp at a price so they lose bunches of money. Not fun.

Ferrari is owned by Fiat. Yes, I said it! Fiat!
And as far as I know, Fiat is an Italian company. So, no committing suicide please. :)

Yeah, I knew that ;) If you check one of my previous posts, I said that the "EDIT" about Ferrari being Italian was only sarcasm. The day Ferrari is sold to Germany (or any other country, for that matter), Italy better be pretty close to total bankruptcy, or else there will be some pretty 🤬 Italians, and I'll be the leader :D :sly:

And yes, unluckily Ferrari is a branch of Fiat, but don't spread the voice... Ferrari is, after all, completely independent from Fiat (as far as design, craftsmanship, costs, and exclusivity go) - luckily, I would say ;)

After all, if you put your Fiat Turbo Coupe' against any Ferrari, you woul have a hard time guessing that the company behind both is the same ;) :sly: (unless you knew it to start with, that is)

Oops.. didn't read the edit part... :guilty:

Unluckily? You should be proud that Ferrari has strong financial support. If it weren't for Fiat, Ferrari would probably be bankrupt themselves -- or at least in the hands of a German company... :scared:

Maybe if I put the Turbo Coupe's engine into a F430, then we would have the ultimate sports car! :D
