More Real World & City Tracks

Now that I've started a league I'm really seeing the track limitations within GT5. They've put what is it 8mg/8gb on our hard drive they should be able to put a boat-load of real world, city tracks on it. I'd even sacrifice the original tracks if needed. Or are we waiting on DLC? New system update this a.m. so maybe something soon from PD.
 
If we could get Watkins Glen on GT5, my fantasies will be fulfilled. :drool:

My dream tracks on GT5:

Bathurst
Spa
Mt. Taupo
Road America
The VW Nardo Test Track
Silverstone
Maucu

And on and on and on...
 
Tracks i want:
Spa
Twin Ring Motegi
Silverstone
Sebring
Road Atlanta
 
It's amazing how one can start over 100 threads in 4 months...

Anyway, I can't imagine this has been discussed in any thread before...no idea... :rolleyes:
 
I'm all up for having more real world tracks, I don't like the 'original' ones very much, they seem to be composed of nothing much else than perfect circles, squares, & triangles, LOL!

The only original I like is High Speed Ring. Easy to test a car on that track.

This sounds like it is going to be another wish list, and you're just saying you want more tracks. It could have gone without another thread on the subject, or you could have just posted your opinion in an existing thread. Please search next time :). Here are a couple threads you should try.

Love the original tracks, would have hated to see them left out.
 
I would love to see more tracks. Especially Clipsal and Bathurst.
I do however feel this has been discussed before in another thread. :odd:
 
Along with real world tracks, I would love for PD to include some of the best real world driving roads as well. Maybe they could include another mode where they combine some of the best driving roads in the world, and you could just free roam drive between them somehow.

But what I mean are roads like this:



Skip to 4:55 to see the road right away, or watch the whole video. It's a Top Gear episode. But anyway, I would love to see PD include some roads like these, where we could just have fun driving. It could be a separate mode, where you just have a relaxing drive, without worrying about lap times or anything.

Maybe they could make it C-Spec mode, and there could be races with you and one other driver. Or better yet, it could be part of a DLC, where you race a brand new car, and if you win, you win the car! There's loads of possibilities, but I would just love to have a mode like this, I think it would be alot of fun...

Then I would really appreciate some more drift tracks (Since Tsukuba is the only one) like:
Ebisu
Nikko circuit
Some Epic Mountain stage!
 
I'm all for more tracks total, but not at the sacrifice of the original courses, which are (at least to me) much more fun and challenging, not to mention lively, than most real-world circuits. Then there's also the fact that those courses are what made the series what it is - real-world circuits didn't become a predominant factor until GT4.

Not at all intended to be a wish list. Other than the fact I would sacrifice the original tracks for more real world and city tracks. That's the discussion.

Half of the posts in this thread aren't discussing anything. Just people saying what track they want.
 
I'm all in for new tracks but I rather wish they first bring back the old tracks from previous GT's before starting on any new tracks. 👍

But I definately hope they don't sacrifice the fictional tracks they've created to make room for real-world tracks. :nervous:

They already have huge arsenal of different kind of tracks on their hands, including few streetcourses, which i think would take less time to implement into the game. :confused:

I'm not a programmer or a computer expert but i believe the process to create new tracks from scratch would take a lot longer then just giving a make-up to tracks that already exist. :dunce:
