More Sharkport problems...

Ok, first of all, you may have seen my thread from a couple of weeks ago. I still have the same problem. "Please install USB cable drivers". I'm pretty sure I know how to install a driver, but in "Add new Hardware", what kind of device is it? I am determined to get my Sharkport to work. If you need more info, just tell me what you need to know.

I get it right after I click on it. Then the Sharkport background thing goes away.

It's an Xlink cable, but that won't be in the list. That's why your supposed to select "other devices".

If you have it installed already, and you plug it into your usb port, it should say New Hardware Found, so then just put in your sharkport pc disc, and install the drivers. I had the same exact problem and that fixed it right up for me.

Hi.
Have you gotten the thing to work yet?I tried the directions,but got the same message.Go into system settings,and check the driver.It will point out the problem and direct you as to fixing it.It wont show up as Sharkport.It will be a yellow Question mark.
Also,make sure you have at least Ver.2.03.Anything less wont work(so I am told),and you have to install the disk that came with the product first before you can upgrade from the internet to 2.04.

By saying"Go into system settings" what do you mean. Please be as specific as possible for me please. Oh yeah, where do I download the Version 2.04?
