More special events needed!

After reading about updates on the way to upgrade standard cars to premium, I just have to question if this should be a priority for PD when there's other aspects of the game that could be improved. One, in my opinion is the special events. There's just so much more that could be done with it, for example a drift school and/or event, proper Top Gear events where you have to beat the actual power laps set by the Stig on the show, extreme weather races, the list could go on and on.

Another reason for adding more special events is the XP grind, especially when you're at level 25 and above and grinding away just to unlock one endurance race in which the XP you earn for winning it is no where near enough to unlock the next one.

I feel that PD just hasn't tapped into the potential that's there in the special events and instead has put together a half-hearted attempt which shows that it wasn't much of a priority for them. So please PD, give us some more better ones.

Reasons:

* Havn't touched B-spec, it doens't interest me in the slightest.
* Most of the A-spec amateur/beginner races are far too easy, even for a newb like me.

So, why not ditch B-spec, and blend the A-spec and special events into the same thing, sacreficing some of the A-spec events for more special events.
 
Not just special events, this game is severely lacking events period. A-spec is very small, and the XP/Credit system is a mess.
 
Special events are cool but I also miss the Missions from GT4. They were a real challenge, as most were 200 a spec points.

And I also would like to see stuff added to Aspec. I mean, to have so many events that are only 1 race is ridiculous. And almost every race is 5 laps. And the "Championship" events usually only contain 3 or 5 races. Lengthen the events a bit.

+1. Adding new series is relatively straightforward compared to what goes into adding new special events. There's so many easy permutations:

RX-7 only series,
high-end FR event
high end MR
German Supercar Championship
Concept Car Events (GTR Proto, FT86, Cien, etc.)
World Tour (Laguna Seca, Suzuka, Monza, Monaco, Nurburgring GP),
City Series (SSR7, SSR5, London, Rome, Madrid, Monaco),
Original Series (Grand Valley short and long and reverse, High Speed Ring, Autumn Ring short and long, etc.),
WRX STi v. Evo,
M3 v. S4
Vipers v. Vettes
Single races of realistic race distance (like 50-60 laps) of real world courses

the list goes on and on...

More events, more special events, more one off events, more one make events, just more events. There is just simply a pathetic amount presently.
