More wet tracks...at night???

As quoted from the October 2003 issue of UK Car mag.

won't start a race in sun then have rain. In GT3
there was only one race where it was night and it
was raining,but in GT4, we will have more."
 
I hope they will be able to incorporate 6 cars racing on the wet courses, that would be great, it seems so odd to only have 4 at one time.
 
i would love the Le mans style race, but only if u could save during it. I know some of you hard-core gt players wouldn't complain about 12-24hr races, but i think it would be a bit harsh on others.
 
I noticed there is a glitch, well sort of, why is there not rain particles actually falling down, i know it just a wet course, but the inclusion of light drizzle would make a challenging game notheless and solidfiy it as good driving sim game. :trouble:
 
i think the 2 reasons for no visible drizzle are...
1) its very hard t incorporate rain without making it look like a bunch of grey straws falling from the sky

2) puts even greater strain on the already hard worked graphics processor

It's not raining, it's just wet track, I figure you already knew that but someone else might'nt.
 
So, you can start off in a race and it starts to rain? I hope that feature is added.

It won't be added.

One thing I wouldn't mind seeing, but can't think of how it could be done, are dry lines forming in the tracks. Pretty much all AI cars run the same exact lines, one does too run the same line always. If the water could separate little by little that'd be pretty cool.
More than likely it would only be noticeable in 10 lappers though, 5 lappers at the least.

Good idea, only if the race is optional or if the length is selectable. If I ever got 12h on my hands, doing an enduro race on a track like Le Mans would be great!
 
I want the weather to be able to change during the race and you would have to pit in to get wets if its raining but only on long races.
 
BTW how do you get rid of Usernames?

I used to use a different username but I started up this one and I don't need the other one anymore.

What do I do?
 
I just hope for an daily rain races and it would be great if rain races would be randomised during the championship or cup.

For an real-time change of weather we will have to wait for PS3.

You mean like say Deepforest was in a cup, GT4 would randomly pick where it loaded Deepforest (Dry) or Deepforest (Wet)?

That'd be pretty cool :) & a good way to work around the 'random' weather during races & lack of PS2 power, to a degree.
