Based in Miami Florida, Consuliur Industries was a small supercar manufacturer who created their first car, the Consuliur GTP in 1985. The car was built by Warren Mosler in 1985 and was very light and was powered by a 180HP Chrysler 2.2 I4, and most of the components were also sourced form Chrysler.

The GTP was successful in IMSA racing for 6 years, with it's excellent power to weight ratio rendering the car unbeatable. The car was given a 300lbs weight penalty in 1990 before it was banned altogether in 1991.

In 1993 Consuliur Industries spun off their automotive division to Mosler Automotive, which focused on high-end performance cars. Their first car under this brand was the Mosler Intruder, which was an improved version of the GTP with a Lingenfelter tuned Chevy LT1 V8.

The Intruder raced in the 24 Hours of Nelson Ledges in 1993 and 1994 and won both times, before being banned from the event. In 1996 a Lingenfelter Intruder, with a 450HP V8, won Car & Driver's "One Lap Of America"

After the Intruder was banned, Mosler went on to create the Raptor. This car had slight changes from the Intruder and won Car & Driver's One Lap Of America from 1997 to 1999 before Brock Yates banned it from competing again.

The car was eventually replaced by the Mosler MT900R in 2001, which went on to become heavily used in several racing series across the world, despite not being eligible for FIA GT3 Homologation.
