The Mosler MT900 GT3 is an evolution of the Mosler MT900R, a racing car built by Rollcentre Racing for Mosler Automotive based on the MT900 supercar. In 2006 Rollcentre built the MT900 GT3 to conform to the FIA's new GT3 regulations but, due to the lack of production of the MT900 supercar, the car was forbidden from joining the main FIA GT3 series. The car was allowed to compete in the International GT Open, Australian GT Championship and the British GT Championship. While driving the BMW 330d for Top Gear Racing in the 2007 Britcar 24 Race, Richard Hammond crashed into the rear of a Mosler MT900 GT3, causing £30,000 worth of damage.
