FIA President Max Mosley has said he already has his substitute ready when he steps down from his position at the FIA at the end of his current term. He will not be available to be re-elected for the next term.

Mosley got his FIA President position back in 1991 and is currently 65 years old. "Two years ago I resigned but was called back. In the end, the people that attacked me the most are the ones who got the biggest benefits from my presidency," Mosley told Autosprint.

"I will reduce my activity when the current issues are all solved. It will be my last mandate and I already have a substitute ready to take my position."
The story can be found here.

The question is: Who is his replacement?

Jackie Stewart. 👍 He don't take poo from no-one!

Bit on the ancient side however. I dunno, I don't really know many "big figures" in the FIA...

Wasn't he absolutely going to step down two or three years ago?

And isn't the point of a president that it gets voted upon?
