Mossberg 500 Vs. Remington 870

Do you prefer the Mossberg 500/590 or the Remington 870?

Just wondering what GTP'ers think about these two time-honoured shotguns. I personally prefer the Mossberg because of the 2 extractors, better slide release location, and the safety's location. Don't get me wrong, the 870 is still a great gun, but i prefer the 500 for those reasons.
 
590 for home defense; 870 for hunting.

Remington. I have several. Two for hunting (one for turkey and the other for duck and geese), one for sporting clays and one for home defense (tactical 870).
 
I prefer the 870, but only because I have a Wingmaster... I have never used a Mossberg.
 
Hmm.. I get more headshots with the 870, but the Mossberg is what the pro kids use...

Give me a deagle.

But anyway, I'd take the 870.
 
I'll take the Mossberg, it is easier on my little thumbs while loading.
 
Own a 500('bout 7 years old or more now). Carry a 590 at one of my jobs. That being said, I voted 870.

Remington every time! Just a far nicer shot in my opinion
