Just finished all the dealer races. Interested to know which you think are the most difficult, for a completely untuned car, pro physics. My votes, hardest first:

1. TVR Tuscan & Tamora / Suzuka
2. Elise 111R / London
3. Corvette Z06 / HSR

It's also interesting to go back over past races. While completing the game I struggled a little with B9, the 4WD car event in London, using an Evo IX. Came back with the Audi R8 and was first before the end of the first lap. Too easy so switched back to the Evo and still won comfortably. All that time on the S class races obviously paid off! Same thing for A9. But I don't think that I'm able to get gold on A8 yet....

Doing the same myself @ the mo' 92.6% complete,
Had trouble with Opel Speedster races and Alpine(310)cup races, that car just wants to swap ends all the time.Solution is run with 200 ballast up-front(-50).Ha! mis read the forum topic,my races are in GT4.Soz.

For me, i finished all the races in Gold...
I have at least one of each cars in my garage.
and i am working toward getting the 2 Millions as well as filling my garage to the max, with a few additional F1 (although not to the extent of having 70 F1 LOL)

Anyways, the only race i have yet to get a Gold, my last race is the Mercedes Dealer Race with the SL.
I have pro-physics, with NO aids (except for ABS set at 1), the power is standard, and the weight is standard as well,
whether i use the controler or the DFGT, i cannot get better than 5th!!! it's so tough... :dunce:

It's my last race,
once i finish it, i can consider myself to have all Gold status :P

i have been trying for a few days already, I just cant get to at least one of the Podium place....

Amazing...I easily got bronze in that, and then moved on without going for gold. The TVR race is more difficult I thought. Then again, once I'd got to third I just eased right off, but I do think I could have been first had I kept going hard as I think I finished 5 secs behind the leader, and made third early on the second lap. But it would be too much to spin off and lose it from third place! If you can hustle a TVR to gold I can't see why the Mercedes event is so much harder.

I finished all the other races a few months back already, so it's been a while and thus i dont remember how i performed with the TVR...
i should take a look back at my replays and see what my set up was.

Most likely that i used the controller, which i master better than the Wheel.

(I just recently decided to go full time on the Wheel to learn and to get myself acquainted with it before GT5 comes out.)

The reason i only did the Mercedes race only now is because i just bought the Mercedes, i never had it before until recently...

Myself, I cant understand why i am not getting it either... it looks rather easy... I know i have to constantly attack in every single corner and drive hard in the straights... and yet, i am not able to get fast enough to catch up with the leaders... if i do... it's back to kindergarden :dopey: and play-time with the sand box LOL.... i am not liking this car :D

The TVR race was toughest for me, I hate S1 tyres :ouch:. The Ferrari race was also quite challenging for me until I learnt to use the California, after that it was so easy it's not even funny.

I've got to say, i had trouble with the Suzuka Swift race. After 2 attempts i gave up and put the turning angle up to 50 (didn't change anything else) and i won by like 3 seconds. Understeer on N1 tyres in a Front wheel drive car

I found the Corvette race easy, but i've yet to try the TVR and Lotus races.
