Hey guys.

I dont have so much time to try every single car in the game.

Iwe always been more of a guy who likes to find enjoyable cars and then use them for a long time, rather than driving 100 of diferent of cars.

But there is just so many cars in the game, that its sorta imposibel to try them all.

I uasely also like the lower clasess more, since I lack the skill to handle the superfast cars at very high speed.

What are the most fun and enjoyable car in each class ?

Enjoyable? That's a bit subjective.

However I would like to see a discussion on which cars are most effective in each class and perhaps 'best bang for buck'... ie. you probably dont want to spend heaps if you dont need to

Off the top of my head some random classes...

I got a free Mazda 787B so I campaigned that one in all the prototype classes. Untuned I found it to be no problem at all except in the ultra power races like Le Mans where the Peugeot 908 and the big power cars have a slight edge.

I found both the Ferrari 312 and McLaren 23 both pretty neck and neck but the Lotus edges them out just slightly. Nothing in them.

Polestar STCC Volvos clearly outclass the rest in Global GT. Also for a mid engined car they are stable in the water.

I used my free Brabham BT24 for all the 1967 races. No issues.

For V8 Supercars I used the Volvo and AMG C63 just to be different. They all drive very similar.

Track cars I use the BAC Mono (what else? everyone uses this) and the Exige S for the Le Mans and Monza type races. The Mono doesnt have the top end needed.

GTLM I use the two Super Trofeo Gallardos, cheap and beautiful and very competitive. They eat everyone in the wet.

For the SUV class I used my old favourite, the Jeep Grand Cherokee but made it RWD. Its kinda cheating but eh... you use your advantage.

In Prototypes I also had good luck with the Audi R18 Etron. Its slow in its class, I think the 3.7 or 4.0 v6 turbo diesel isnt going to be able to help you keep up in drag races with the V12 908 and the Group C big hitters but it does handle extremely well so in longer races I found it much less tiring to drive. Many many races I've been in 2nd place and the leader stuffs up under pressure if you stick on their back bumper. Oh yeah, as usual on Le Mans, Monza and the power tracks you need to be on your game.

The Ferrari 512BB cleans up on everyone in Group 5. But I had a great time in the BMW M1 and the Capri. Found the Audi 90 IMSA not to be that useful, not even in the rain with the 4wd.

For a lot of the Japanese import class I found the Lancer Evo to be great if you just want to smash thru the races. The 4wd and turbo power makes them very competitive, any weather, any track. Same as the R32-R34 Skylines.

Maserati MC12 was a life saver for me in "Birth Of The Supercar".

I cheated and used the Bugatti EB110 in the wet for the 4wd system. Otherwise my free McLaren F1 GTR LM did fine but it didnt feel all that stable to me.

Alright without a doubt for X class the Mclaren Honda MP4/4 is the most enjoyable car.
