Most missed race intro?

The start of the race.

GT1:

Camera circles around car then zooms into position.
Theme:


GT2:

Camera flies in towards the front of the car, rotates, then the angle changes to the in car view (or external view) backing up into position.
Tune:
GT3:

Camera calmly drifts towards car, when count down starts, camera swipes from left to right facing the front, then same with the back, then into position.

Tune:



GT4/5, random cameras..

I just miss the three(beep) two(beep) one (beep) standing starts. just watching a car crawl towards the start line is pants. GT3 is epic tho, such a good example of quality over quantity IMO.

GT1 beats the **** out of everything! The whole GT1 soundtrack is by far the best one in the GT series in my opinion. I don't have music on during races these days though, but thanks for the nostalgia trip. 👍

BIG + for this! I get so notialgic. PD should seriously make a remix of this, with enoug classic moments to give us 'old timers' goose bumps.

This thread makes me sad , because gran turismo had soul , passion , things i never understood and i dont understand what i'm saying .

what i'm saying is previous gt series had a special thing makes you more excited after every race , and the music is one of them .

GT1 had the most awesome intro in the GT series. I personally loved the part where the GT logo appears. It gave that "and then it begins" feeling. GT2 intro is also one of my favorites. This thread brings me good old memories from my childhood... GT could return to its roots when it comes to intro and soundtrack.
