Just wondering, which parts are the most potent:

Turbocharger kit
NA kit
Engine Chip
Exhaust System
Intercooler
Counterbalance
Rev Chip
cu. in/displacement-UP
Port Polishing/Bore Kit?

I don't care about brand loyalty, I just want horsepower:trouble:

It all depends on the car
Some Stage 4 turbo's on some cars only give liek 200% more HP while others give 300%
You can just look it up for each part in the editor program. It shows you the percents.

A certain turbo in the game, I believe it was the Alto_Works turbo gives the largest power upgrade. Depending upon your application turbos are a little iffy at times. *Remembering first time I used a turbo... My car wouldnt take off* Just be very careful with a turbo upgrade. For a good all around upgrade you should certainly choose a N/A Tune Up (plenty of power, no turbo lag)! My recommended first upgrade is a chip, cheap and it will give you the edge at the beginning of the game. You can then jump straight to a turbo or NA kit, your preference! Oh, I forgot this is the hybrids/gamesharks forum :ouch: in that case... use the NA

I don't know where you heard that. Mixing turbo and NA tune on the same car is very touchy and will usually result in massive lag problems. There are ways to cut down on the lag. There are also certain engines that will accept both with no problem, but in general you would be better off avoiding attempting to combine the two.

NVM... I found something much more effective.. the Power Multiplier :trouble:

Expect my first hybrid to be a car (probably something stockly slow) to be an experiment in the Power Multiplier. It'll probably be a 1300hp Z/28 to top out in the stock transmission's 6th gear :trouble:

I've done plenty of Power Mulitply experiments. Like my 29,000HP Legacy Wagon....
Before doing hybrids, I hope you use another memory card like I did. It could corrupt your file. But its a good thing I got 6 cards...

I already got 2, made a copy 👍

Andyways, I'm still waiting in my CD's :grumpy:

Anyone up for an Alto that can can go head-to-head with a Stage4T equipped Escudo? Power multiply to 30. This will slaughter the other K-cars :dopey:

You're so lucky!! I wish I could have a cheat system that would let me multiply the horsepower of cars!! I appreciate the novelty may wear off soon, but not being able to have any mods is damn right annoying!!!

Just because we got Prologue and the US NTSC peeps didnt shoudln't mean we're not allowed to use hp mods!! Besides, you can convert games from PAL to NTSC, i bet u can;t convert Gameshark to Action replay :-( :-( 👎

EDIT: I would be in fits trying to make a 94405hp escudo move! There would be no grip not even with super softs!!

The sky-revving (save for F1) Shigeno engine seems to take the Alto turbo very well, along with a Vertigo Stage 2 NA and Cooper 1.3i displacement increase and the like make for a weapon-like motor that sounds like a pure racer and has a very wide, sweeping powerband (a little weak below 6 grand though). Output is 1,500hp+ with no power multiplier modifications :trouble: Lag is not like a full-blown Alto, it's actually pretty decent, better than the F686/M. Strange thing though, from 8,000 to 10,500 rpm the turbo pressure seems to fall off a bit
