I saw that and it's sad to see Elric's baby being stolen from him like that.

He said he did it as a act of good faith. I'll just quote his facebook message:
My attorney and theirs are in negotiations for settlement . As an act of good faith I have removed the video. As long as they pay me what they owe me and quit trying to screw with me I will play ball. If they do not and leave me hanging out to try I will beging the most rampant Social Media Campaign of all time and let you folks bring the fight to them. I will no longer be a part of Motherboards.org in any way and on Monday me and my team begin working full time for Tech Of Tomorrow. I can't wait to start building a new community with ALL OF YOU.. Thanks a million for all your support,,,

Elric posted a video update earlier where he thanks us viewers for the massive support as well as people like Linus from LinusTechTips for their support also. He also says that his lawyer and Channelpro's lawyers are in discussions right now so everything seems to be going perfectly good for now.

Here's to hoping everything goes smoothly 👍 .

He must of made it private as part of the settlement they are making. This is of course is assuming he did it for that reason.
