MotoGP 10/11

Hi there, I've recently really been wanting a MotoGP game but as there's nothing planned for this year, I've got no choice but to buy last years one. Does anyone have any feedback and opinions on the game? Obviously I'm aware it's not a simulation but being able to ride Rossi's Ducati is enough for me. I owned 09/10 and thought it was generally pretty good, aside from the bloody narrator! So, let me know.

If you liked 09/10 then you'll like 10/11 as it's more or less the same (if not a bit worse). I thought both were utter crap from top to bottom, but that's just me. If you haven't played it already I think MotoGP 08 is far superior playing game. It lacks features but the actual control and handling kills 09/10 & 10/11 and that's the most important thing to me. IT focuses on the game play almost to a fault. funny a lot of people complained about it until 09/10 & 10/11 came out and then they realized how good 08 was.

If you have a PC you have a few options. You can pick up a copy of GP500 and download some mods to get updated tracks, seasons, teams, bikes, etc....... and you'd have what is one of the best bike games ever made. The same applies to SBK 2K & 2K1 for the PC. There are a lot of mod packs out that update the rosters & seasons. I've also seen a few for the PC versions of MotoGP 08 and SBK 08

If only the turning in MotoGP 10/11 had not been annoying as **** - I can live with the weak brakes - then it would've been a decent game. But now it looks like I'm drunk when I play that game. It will lead you down the path of major frustration followed by anger. But hell, if you liked 09 and Ronin say they are similar maybe you'll manage.

But Rossi will be on Yamaha, so Stoner for Ducati.
